| Job Description |
Repair and maintain vehicles as instructed by Team Leader. Diagnose vehicle electrical problems as directed by Team Leader. Maintain a high standard of work area cleanliness. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness when working on customers’ vehicles and take proper measures to protect vehicles. Where possible, work within flat rate times scheduled for each operation. Recommend additional work where found necessary and carry out such work when properly authorized. Maintain tools and equipment, especially electronic diagnostic equipment, to a high standard. Recommend replacement where broken, damaged or lost items occur. Participate in Company sponsored training. Participate in self-study programs, and liaise with Technical Advisor to keep up-to-date with the latest electrical improvements. Highlight recurring electrical problems with FORD/LINCOLN vehicles and ensure such problems are properly recorded by Service Administration. Maintain good communications with Parts personnel. Inform team leader immediately a delay in repair is apparent. Ensure that when parking vehicles the allocated parking spaces are used. |
